Default Engine swap questions

Hello everyone I am new to this website. I am currently living in mexico city and i have found a project car that i would like some advice on. I am looking at buying a 2000 xtreme that has had a 6.0l ls 2008 swap with the transmission and rearend. The swap looks to have been done relatively well but the high performance market in mexico is very different. Had to find good mechanics here. The guy i am buying the truck told me that the truck is running on the original wiring harness from the v6 motor. Is this possible? if soo has anybody heard of a situation like this? the truck idles fine but doesnt clear up until around 2000 rpm. It also has a 100 shot of nitrous dry. Is this to much for this motor. Also how hard of a switch would it be to find and orignal wireharness to put into the truck or would it be easier to by a fuel tech or holley system because at some point i would like to put a turbo on this truck. I will uploads some piics and videos if you can help me out by telling me what you guys see in aftermarket parts and if i should just avoid thee project!!

The Engine Harness could be wired into the Truck using the existing V6 Harness on the Truck side, if they did it right. Sounds like it needs a tune.
