Default Sensor on intake plenum

I have this 5.3 out of a 2003 Tahoe. I’ve been getting it dialed in, but I have no idea what sensor this is. Please help. Thanks!

It's the EVAP solenoid.

thank you for that. I have somewhere to start now. Does this need to be hooked up on a swap?

I imagine it’s causing a vacuum leak but the engine seems to be running fine.

thanks.

It's for evaporative purge from the stock gas tank. Not needed on your swap. Take it off and install this : https://www.ictbillet.com/products/l...BoCngMQAvD_BwE

thanks! I figured as much but I’m pretty new to this engine so it helps to have confirmation. Thanks again!
