Okay I have a friend who is curious about the LS1 and LS2 engines.
I know there is a displacement diference between the two motors. Can you put LS2 valve train or Crank in an LS1? How about LS2 heads on an LS1? So what is interchangable between the 2 motors.
Thanks

Interesting.
So the only thing that is different about the motor is the piston size. So I can easily make my LS1 into an LS2 motor, Just by boring out the cylinders, and put the LS2 head, crank, rods and pistons into the old LS1 block.
