My drivers side window tint got scratched up pretty bad. I took the door panel off and found one of the window stabilizers was broken off and sharp where it broke at. Not knowing that, when I let the window down it messed my tint up. I picked one up at the dealer today. The fuzzy stabilizer is slotted and adjustable, how much pressure do I need to have it applying on the window before I lock it down? I'm getting the tint redone after I fix it. I try not to close the door with the window half up. I think that helps keep it from bouncing. Also whats the easiest way to remove tint from the window. Where I'm at Atlanta G.A. 35% is the darkest and still be legal. How much darker is 20%. Think I'll be alright? Guess it depends on the cops mood. Thanks guys, all opinions appreciated.

Same exact thing just happened to me, I don't know about adjusting it though.

Hopefully someone knows how you adjust them. It pissed me off, put a big gouge on my tint.

Mine broke too, but Im a cheap *** without tint, so I just wrapped the sharp spots with tape.

Yeah it jacked my tint up real bad too. I wanted to go darker anyways, so now I guess I have some motivation to go spend some money on tint.
