I thought so too, I'm abit confused by gordon's post "warhawk... in production in about a month" Is he speaking of the current warhawk or gm's new block. Judging by the posted weight of the block I'm guessing he's speaking of warhawk's alluminum block. But then that wouldn't be news unless he's refering to the price.
sorry, i should have said "on the market" "full production" and it does start at $2,500 for the basic block w/o machining, and goes up around to $4,500-5,000 for the bigger bore, and Prepped Block. The LSX block is $2,300 and you can have 511ci in that small block and can with stand more than 2,500hp, but on the down side its iron, and weighs about 220 pounds...
