Help please
Help please ok so i'm almost 18 now and my dad refuses to buy me a z28 or any sports car with a v8 and rwd. so i decided to not whine about it and instead am now looking at other possible cars. nice cars between 10-15K. preferably 2 door. the smaller the engine, the more i prefer it to be manual. but if you wouldn't mind, i'd love to hear some suggestions. thanks!
Come up with something, you can get a decent TT Supra for about $15k.

The reason that i am not buying my own is because i have 3 older sisters who all received cars from my parents when they were 17-18 and now my dad says it's my turn to get a good car. I was initially getting a camaro z28 but my dad has done some serious thinking through this winter and said that he will not buy me a car that i will kill myself in. So now it's on me to buy a camaro when i save up more *about 5K more* and my dad will buy me a good car now.

Just a dumb thought. I'd get a V6 model.....wait about a month or so....save some of your own cash....Sell it without him knowing... (tell him its in the shop ....tranny busted or something) buy a V8 model and tell him you added an exhaust!(so you avoid the "it sounds different now" statement) Te He!! ....(just make sure they look the same..I.E. ...color)
