Question from Australia
gday all.
I have an LS1 motor in my australian VX SS commodore.
I have a problem. Ive replaced my standard radiator with an aftermarket item. All the hoses line up without any problems except for 1.
The hose that comes off the heat transfer pipes, that transfer water between then heads. It normally has a t peice that diverts water the the throttle body.
Ive bypassed the throttle body, but the problem is, the new radiator doesnt have an input for the hose that comes from the Tpiece off the heat transfer pipe.
Am i able just to block it up? will it cause problems or does the heat transfer pipe have to be routed back to the radiator.
It looks to me that the T peice is only there for the TB heating, and is made redundant if the TB is bypassed.
Please help as I cannot drive my car until it is sorted.
There is a pic attached to help explain.
