Mine Did That Until I Bought Their Maf Sensor After I Bought That And Installed It With The Lid I Never Had A Problem. With Out The Slp Maf Sensor Though It Was A Nightmare, Didnt Want To Stay On The Maf Or The Throttle Body.

I had to trim mine 1/4 in. then tuck the lip of the lid inside the box.
no probs yet......also no gains

Know what.....I just realized that someone mentioned having the SLP MAF and it working with that and THATS why mine fits also....cuz I have the SLP MAF too. Still had to slice a 1/4 inch off the end that connects to the MAF but it fits perfectly now.
