Ls Info

Is there a visual difference between an LS1 and a LS6, cause i have a 02 SS camaro and i spoke 2 thre previous owner and he said its a Ls6 INSTALLED BUT I WANTED 2 BE SURE

Also the block will have 12561168 stamped on it if it is an LS6 Block I believe if it reads any other number then it is an LS1 Block.

Some 02s had the ls6 block in them from factory though...

Some got lucky with an LS6 block, but thats all it is, an LS6 block. No LS6 internals or heads or anything other than the standard LS6 intake that came on 01-02 F-bodies.

Unless they installed an LS6, it does not have one.
