Isn't a bolt on any performance mod that doesn't touch oil? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup, if it dosen't touch oil its pretty much a bolt-on, so don't listen to anybody that tells you TC, gears, heads, cam, nitrous are bolt ons

I would consider a Torque Converter a bolt-on. It doesn't touch oil unless your rear main is leaking.

I consider a bolt-on to be anything that bolts onto the engine and doesn't touch oil.

IIRC, any form of non-stock rockers are excluded from the bolt-on list.


So pretty much anything that would exclude you from getting on the Stock-Internal list is not a bolt-on.
