Need help with throttle cable.
Need help with throttle cable. tonight i was installing my new throttlebody and it required me to modify the stock throttlebracket because of the spacer the BBK uses. Now the pedal sits about half way down and the blade on the tb is at idle... i can pull the pedal up to where its supposed to be but it just drops back to where it is.. half way.. anyone have any suggestions?? i really need help.
So that means it's not a spacer, it's more of an adapter. In that case put the stock throttle body back on and get rid of that BBK garbage. The stock throttle bodies can handle quite a bit of horsepower and there really is no reason to change it. If you must mod your throttle body just get a stock one ported and polished.
