what to do what to do So i recently came into a chunk of cash. 6000 dollars to be exact. and well lets just say its all going into the camaro. so im wanting to get an opinion on parts and sucess. im looking for the meanest i can make the camaro on 6k i have gears intake exhaust and thats about it right now. so if you had 6k for your ls1 what would you do? im looking at TS cam and head package and some drivetrain and susp. maybe a nitrous kit. i dont want a turbo or a blower really. im wanting to go all motor. So Lets Hear it?!

Depends on whether it is going to be set up for street or drag...I'd go with a good suspension set up, stall, cam, good tune, maybe a FAST 90/90, and some good size tires in the back for a start...

DO NOT get a fast 90/90 unless you are getting a nice cam mathced up with some ported heads. Unless thats what he meant, along with the mods you listed. You will not gain any power on stock heads and could actually lose power with the fast intake. Best bang for buck is the LS6 intake but you have a 02 so you are good. If you do get the fast 90/90, make sure you get it ported. Agree with stall, that will honesly be your biggest, best mod you can do. Get some killer 243's and a custom cam, 3200-4000 stall, 3.42-3.73 gears, port matched fast 90/90, LT's and a good catback/cut out, suspension and sticky tires. Of coarse a good tune, might as well get a U/D pulley too.
