Disable codes??
can't pass emissions!! I have an 02' ss with longtube headers and tsp true duals with o2 sims, no codes showing but when they try to inspect it it says the secondary air not ready and heated oxygen sensor not ready, I looked at the air pump and the hoses were kinked, any suggestions on what to do?? got less than 30 days to fix it now or state fines me. Thanks!!
What is saying "the secondary air not ready and heated oxygen sensor not ready?" try to go somewhere else man, as long as your ses light is off you should be ok. Or at least thats how it is where im from.
Sorry if im getting off topic a little bit, but in MD(im from edgewater) ive just been plugged in to the OBDII and then sent on my way. I never had to get on the rollers, but im curious as to which emissions station gives you a waiver for being too low. . .mind sharing?
to the OP, is your SES light's bulb burnt out? I would just take it to autozone and see if they can read the code, then when you get the number take it to a tuner to have it deleted.

It would be better to have them deleted than to buy something and try and delete them. Look at the sponsor list to see if there are any in your area or go to the regional forums and post up asking where you could get codes deleted. I had a few codes deleted for cats and it was about $100.

Have you disconnected the battery lately? The emissions monitors need a certain amount of time to set (say a week of daily driving, idling, highway etc) otherwise they will show Not Ready. If the battery has not been disconnected lately and the car has not been tampered with, there may be a problem with one of the systems that is keeping the test from completing.
Go to a tuner and have him select "no error reported" for all emission codes, yet keep the "SES" box checked. This will keep all codes from coming back, and keep all your systems in the "READY" state.

I had the same problem. Fixed all of my CEL's drove it a couple hundred miles then got it inspected. Still failed b/c the O2 heaters werent ready and something else. I got fed up and just bought HPTuners and tuned the crap out so the PCM didnt even check for em. Oh and I had O2 Sims I wonder if thats why the O2 heater sensor check doesnt ever complete.
If your car has to pass the OBD II testwhere they plug it into a computer to test it, your screwed. After you tune out the air and rear O2 sensors it will fail because the systems aren't there and should be.
