next mod help
okay well, ive got my headers, lid, and cut-out, but now im stuck as to what to do next? should i go with a nice cam or should i go with a rearend? i want the power that the cam offers, but then again i am tired of not grabing any traction and want to get a new rearend. so i was wondering what you guys think?

Port your TB first. If you are planning to get a big cam, then don't worry about the rear-end as much. If you plan on going for a mid-range cam though, I would suggest upgrading the rearend first.
I might also suggest placing some SFC on it. They aren't much, around $150 or so I believe and will definitely help with peace of mind and stability.

your looking at two very different priced options here. about a 1000 for a cam/install, or 3000 for a rear/install plus another 400+ for tires. Not to mention the other suspension upgrades you need. before you know it your 5 grand in the hole. if you are a strip guy and plan to make more and more power, then i would say go for the rear. if do it now and get it out of the way, at least you will get some cash for your 10 bolt. dont forget to really launch the car, you'll need a clutch as well
if your a street guy that doesnt race much then a decent cam will wake this up, but you will have a difficult time putting it to the ground. a cam will not break the rear end, launching and shifting hard will. with a decent cam you can put down numbers of 400+. and make that car a lot of fun to drive. personally i would do the cam now and then start saving for a 9 inch.

He has an M6. A rear end will help him with traction because of the fact that he can use slicks w/o fear of breaking is 10-bolt. SFCs, LCAs, etc. is needed too but that stuff isn't too expensive and can be purchased/installed easy.

The stickier the tires, the more wear the rear-end takes. It will probably break with a midrange cam and a DR eventually...

Always my first mods besides exhaust. That way all your power adding mods that follow are giving you the most benefit since all your extra power is making it to the ground and not going up in a cloud of white smoke.

+1 for the rearend, IMO that's someting always to worry about and you'll be getting it out the way
But the suspension idea isn't something to throw out of the picture either, definitely a very good bet.
