i didnt think it was a ricer comment. He clearly know of the zo6's capabilities in all aspects of motorsports therefor he stated straight line so that people wouldnt say "well you cant beat it in x-cross or top end''. It was a clear statement and then somehow he still got a snide remark...remarkable! And who gives a **** about someones spelling. Any how... they arent that fast, I beat one at the track. I was spraying a 100 shot on my head and cam SS.

and to the OP, you wanna make your car that fast? heads, cam, 100 shot, and some suspension should get you there pretty easily
Thats what I was thinking. Thats the only reason I said I could beat one in a drag race. I have far more than heads and a cam. But im a RICER so what do I know.
I got to line up at the track a few weeks ago and i figured i would get killed but this guy was about 70yrs old temp tag still on it & street tires. I red lighted but won w/ 12.65@109 60ft 1.93 the C6 Z06 12.85@117 60FT 2.52 even though he spun the tires it still was a fun race.

yall leave me outta this one, lol. to the OP, wanting to make your car that fast is a great thing to shoot for, maybe that ride with him will get you to give it the green light.
at this thread Nevermind all this other crap. I would love to ride in one or race one. Hell I don't think Ive ever seen one in person. I love the way they look and if I had the money id go tomorrow and buy one. I would leave it stock for no less than a week. Sorry if I offended anyone by saying I bet I could out run a stock Z06. wow, some of you guys need to get back to the reality that not ALL cars are STOCK, yea there amazing cars for how they come stock but hell it would be pretty damm easy to take a built 30 year old big block or even small block for the matter build it and with the right setup smoke a C6 Z06 in a straight line. I mean come on, and I know fast as hell but I highly doubt there 60-160 in 3 seconds fast
