it will run rich, but should not hurt the engine. and unless you plan on getting the tune soon anyway, you could just get some 02 sims to replace the rears

i was pretty sure the rears where there just to monitor the catalitics
the front O2s are the ones the computer uses for a/f

If the 02 sensors are not reading anything, be careful. Usueally the reason why the SES kicks is the reading from the Upstream (before the cat) and down stream (after the cat) o2 sensor and there is a bigger difference then the stock tuned pcm will allow. But no reading could make it even worse.

I personally ran cats and vetter rear 02's in the front and never got a code.

The rear o2's don't affect how it runs, they only read if the cats are working properly, you will be fine.

You're not gonna hurt anything running without the rear O2s. The only thing that could happen is if something else goes wrong, you won't know it because your SES light is already on.

I pulled my rear O2 sims about 2 weeks ago and the car is running the same now as when they were installed. Only reason I pulled them is because I'm getting a tune in about 2 weeks.

Happens to everyone. You just need a tune.
