Default Just Noticed This

i just noticed how inaccurate our engine temp gauge's are. the lowest is 100 the highest is 260 with 210 in the middle???????
last i checked 210-100=110 and 260-210=50 so 110 does not equal 50
i dont know if anyone else has noticed this

1) most temp guages are like that, even in my old car, they're not linear
2) temp gauges in fbodies are dummies, basically it reads cold, warm, hot IIRC, its in a sticky somewhere

98's have accurate temp gauges, the later years have the dummy gauges. But us 98 guys have tachs that read 300rpm too high.
