What to do with the Title

I'm having someone come look at the car and possibly buy it on Wed. I just pd off the car last Friday so I have to wait on a title. How long does this usually take? Also, if no title arrives, could I do a bill of sale and send the title to him? How does this all work and what should I do to make sure he doesn't feel like I'm trying to rip him off?

if he has a bill of sale, that is proof that he has paid for the car, and it is a contractual obligation for you to transfer the title to him at that point.

but... if you don't have the title, if he agrees, you can send it to him when you get it.

dealerships almost always do that. got the title for my Z in the mail a few days ago actually.
