next mod

Default next mod

I figured you guys could help me out i cant figure out what i want to do to my car next it isa 2002 som ss 6 sp it is my daily driver and it was bone stock six months ago when i bought it and since i have put bmr lca, lowering springs, panhard and then slp cat back, y pipe, strut brace, lid then i have also put a k&n filter smoth bellow ported maf ends hypertech II power programer and a ws6 store short stick. As far as what i use the car for is daily driving and it is a toy it does see the drag stip every know and then and it does drive a lot of curvey back roads and i am stuck as to what i want to tackle next so what is your opinion.

Might as well finish up your exhaust system with a set of long tube headers

THE BIGGEST F*$^%#@ CAM YOU CAN THINK OF!


....jk, im with the majority, headers for sure (QTP or kooks if ya got the money) adn the tune would also be a good idea if you dont plan on a cam or H/C anytime soon.

What kind of springs?
If you've got the car lowered on stock shocks, replacing the shocks with good ones (something like Konis) should be at the top of the list, especially if you like to corner.

The most popular first mods are bolt-ons, usually people start with intake and exhaust. I have a Trans Am, and I started with a WS6 hood with the functional Ram Air intake...and for exhaust I installed an SLP LM2 catback.

headers.. and do somethin with the throttle body too, will help out i just installed mine and it helped quite a bit.. www.s2performance.net if u want to check it out.. oh and tune

4.10 gears, headers, some good tires. That'd be a good starting point. Those 4.10's will be an absolute blast in the back curvy roads.

shocks, since you put lowering springs on it. The stock ones are okay with stock springs, but they are way too soft with stiffer springs.
