Default Leaving short block on engine stand for a while ok?

I'm wondering if there are any problems with leaving my new aluminum block LS2 hanging on an engine stand for an extended period of time, say maybe a few months or so?

I've never been concerned in the past with iron SBC blocks, but have been over-thinking doing so with the aluminum block where it's not as strong as iron.

Should I buy one of those SDPC engine cradles and use that for the time being until i'm closer to putting the heads on? Am I just worrying too much about nothing?

Shouldn't be a problem. I would just lube up the cylinder walls really well and make sure it has a tight cover on it.

Yeah, it's all sealed up and lubed already. I really didn't think there would be any problem, but figured I'd look for more opinions. My question is more or less relating to block distortion/block strength from hanging off four bolts on the back of the block.

The only thing that would be a problem is if the block was not secured well (not all bolt's in or not in all the way).
