Can you solve these problems?? i have some issues i havent cleared yet and was hoping to get some of ur input.
1. Coolant
i will have to post a pic for this one but coolant is always found underneath the hood, in almost a straight line, starting from the center of the hood, sprayed across horizantly, on the drivers side only. ive reved it up when the engine was hot, cold, but see nothing. im thinking it probably happens when its under a load.. crack in the block? what do yall think?
2. A/C
after using the air conditioner for say.. about an hour, then shut off the engine, i hear a "gurgling" sound that last about 5-15 seconds? also, does anybodys a/c hose leak and drip right onto the cat?
^and im sure the "gurgling" sound is not related to the coolant^

Coolant could be a number of things, check for cracks in your hoses (unlikely) or possibly a bad radiator cap. I would just let the car warm up a bit and rev the **** out of it to see where its coming from. As for the ac, how sure are you that the sound isnt coolant related? when coolant boils over it sounds like gurgling and you can hear it through your ac vents.

b/c the gurgling is heard only after long a/c use, driving an hour without ac = no gurgling. true running the ac will make the engine run hotter making the coolant hotter. hmm ill have to look further into it.
Does the coolant spray out only when you have run the a/c for a long time? See if there was some kind of leak in the block it would be leaking all the time. If I had to guess, by running the a/c your boiling over your coolant, and the radiator cap squirted out the excess pressure, leaving coolant on your hood. The gurgling sound you hear is the coolant boiling over. I would be worried about overheating, and if you have a 99+ the temp gauge is a dummy gauge anyway. Flush out the cooling system, see if that helps. You really should be concerned with overheating though. Let me know how it goes
