Electrical problems
Electrical problems So for a while now my car has been hard to start, and sometimes loses power completely. Tonight after shutting my car off, I noticed the CD player would stay on until I pumped the brakes, then it would flicker. Also, should the RPM's surge by about 200 when you pump the brake? (While the car is on)

sounds like gremlins in the BCM...
have you had anyone else in your car besides yourself lately? it sounds like your brake pedal's pulling the accessory turn on signal away from your radio...only if your radio isn't losing any of your radio presets. as far as your battery dieing; something is obviously staying on when you shut off your car. do you have an aftermarket stereo??
