tcs switch going bad?

tcs switch going bad? Hey guys had a question about my tcs switch.
I usually drive with it on (only because I don't like looking at it on the dash) and today I noticed that it was off. I did not turn it off. When I attempted to turn if off it did not want to turn off. Once I got to my destination I turned car off. When I started her back up, the switch was back on again... Do the switches have a history of going bad?
