some noise when reversing?? help...
Ok, not sure. I've been under my car, tightened my torque arm, its solid now. My entire rear suspension is secure, no wiggling. Trans mount appears to be in good shape.
BUT, when I reverse and its emphasized on a downward slope, there is metal sounding like clunking noise coming from the back. Could it be the gears finally giving out? I have almost 100K on the clock. (I've done rear end services, saw some aluminum but all looked fine during inspection-there's no whining during normal operation).
Also, when I'm braking, my brake pedal and the front part of the car shakes more than I think is normal. Could it be warped rotors or brake calipers are loose, or something else?
The above two problems I doubt are related?.
Any suggestions or ideas...I'm clearly not thinking of everything.
thanks
