How to install a fuel pump??

Default How to install a fuel pump??
I don't want to cut it and go from the top, so I know I will have to drop the tank, but is there a write-up somewhere what has be done? I don't know what I am doing..

Also what stock replacement fuel pump would you reccomend?

My Racetronix pump came with instructions to hook the pump up, but nothing on how to drop the tank. Dropping the tank is pretty straight forward.

There is carpet over it. Hell, the sheet metal I put back over the whole was probably 2x as thick as what I cut out.
