Default Relay question

I'm adding a fan to my trans cooler and want to know how to wire the relay. I did a search but came up with 3 different ways and not sure which one is right. Someone please help me out.

Thanks

First one:
86 = ignition 12v
30 = fan +
85 = switch
87 = battery w/fuse

Second one:
86 = ignition 12v
30 = battery w/fuse
85 = switch
87 = fan +

thrid one:
86 = ground
30 = fan +
85 = switch
87 = battery w/fuse

The third one. Switch being a toggle or something? Then it's the third one.
Actually all you need to know is 30 and 87 are right in all.
86 and 85, one needs 12 volts and the other needs ground to make the relay work.
It doesn't matter which is which, just ground one (85), run 12volts to the switch and the switch to the other one (86).
