Breaking up.... As of lately my car seems to be falling apart haha. Not to long ago I noticed a ticking sound underneath my car when it was cold but would go away after it warmed up. Now I have noticed that my car will make a ticking sound under load.... People are telling me it is detonation but the funny thing is it only happens on the top of 2nd and through 3rd...
If these are related in any way or if anyone has an idea on how to fix it please help. Im 90% sure the ticking sound when it is cold is an exhaust leak if that helps. Thanks

My parts in my sig were installed not to long ago and also got tuned. Could the y-pipe banging set off the knock sensor? It wouldent suprise me except that it only happens at the top of 2nd and 3rd and im guessing 4th. I know the sound i hear isnt the exhaust leak because it only happens in the upper gears and by the time I get on it the exhaust leak has already sealed. Would fixing the banging y-pipe fix my problem. thanks
