Tranny swap problems.... 91 rx7 I know this isnt for a ls1, but today I was helping a buddy swap his busted 5 speed for another out of the same car.... Dropped the tranny and went to put the new one in, and it seemed like it mounted up against the motor but only the bottom was touching, it was at an angle with about 3 inches between the top of the motor and the trans... cross member was bolted on and 2 bolts in the bottom, but the top wont budge. Anyone have any ideas? thx
