Looks like it is the starter, the noise is coming straight from it.
Is it okay to push start the car to the autostore and back?
I've tried searching through here but can't seem to find an answer. Here is the deal:
2000 ws6 110k miles
-When I go to crank it up all i hear is a rapid clicking noise
-Last night it did start after a couple clicks but the car would not hold an idle and just die. If i gave it gas to hold the idle up it seemed like driving was ok.
-Interior lights and headlights come on without key in ignition

Thanks for the help guys. Rode the bike to autozone picked up a starter, installed it, FIXED.
Wasn't bad at all installing that thing, but the battery was drained after i got it on and so i had to push start the bitch by myself. Then I let the battery recharge turned it off then back on and it cranked right up.

I'll bet it is the battery in the first place. My starter did that click click click thing it was my battery was almost dead so it could only throw the solenoid over and over, making it click.
