Default Wierd vibration...

I've had this problem for a while, but it doesn't come up that often. But I guess I should figure out what it is.

If I'm driving down the highway in OD at say 60 or 65, below 2k rpm (2.73 gears), the car is nice and smooth.

But if I take it out of OD so the rpm's rise, I get this bad driveline vibration. It also does it if I floor it at highway speed, to go from say 60-90mph, as I go through 70's into 80's, I can feel it again.

When driving non-aggressively, I never feel it.

Any idea what it could be?

Thanks!

I'd say due to the fact it doesn't always happen except under some load you may want to check your engine and/or tranny mounts.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. What's the best way to check them?

I had this exact problem in my car. Everything in the driveline was solid. It was due to converter shudder.

Hmmm, interesting. How did you diagnose this?

Sounds good actually, sounds like just the excuse I need to upgrade to a Circle D.
