Replacing torque arm-trans mount

I hate asking dumb questions, but I've search around and found nothing. I bought a 2-piece replacement torque arm mount - the side that goes to the transmission. The stock one is out and I know I have to grind/drill the rivets out. But does the new mount need to be re-riveted? The replacement mount comes as two halves each mounted to metal plates with holes in them. This is not the one-piece kind that slips over the end of the torque arm. It looks exactly like the stock piece.

If bolts will fit I would use 2, grade 8 bolts with lock nuts and a little blue locktite.

After doing a little research, it looks like almost everyone uses the one-piece design. Thinking maybe I should just hop on the wagon.

I did before asking, they show the one-piece design.

Ordered one of those from a sponsor last night as well as some motor mounts. It's not my daily driver so I figure I'll tackle a bunch more stuff while the tranny is out.

I'm sure I could. Or I could just tack-weld the sucker where the rivets were. But since I'm putting poly motor mounts and poly trans mount in, I figured I'll try a poly TA mount too. This two-piece feels almost like a stock rubber replacement and I can't find the details anymore on where I bought it.
