Default I need some Help
ok so I have a 98 ta and for some reason this thing has an erratic idle at times.. I read up and foudn the engine coolant temp can cause all sorts of idle problems. I replace that part and it didnt fix it.. my temp gauge inside my car has never worked it doesnt move is there any sensor or reason the temp gauge wouldnt work that im over looking?

You didn't mention any codes, but thought I'd post this anyway because it shows the wiring diagram and might help: www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8761.php You replaced it with a 3 wire sensor right?

check the tps sometimes that could cause an irratic idle if it has a dead spot in it. use a dvom and check for a stedy voltage through out the sweep

its not throwingany trounble codes thats teh weird part but the iac tps and the sensor and the 3 plug is new
