Default Replace a battery terminal

Has anyone had to do this? Mine is corroded and needs to be replaced but it not as easy as I thought it would be.

Do you just cut the wires and fit them into a replacement terminal?

Yes. Cut the old terminal off, peel back the insulation a little if needed, and bolt the replacement terminal on. Those replacement terminals are cheap and they work for awhile but they are prone to corrosion and will eventually cause problems. It's better to replace the whole cable with a new one when you can afford it.
