Default wiper problem

i know this section is ment for the new guys, but it gets the most taffic.. i think..

well whenever i have my wipers on at any speed, every few wipes there is this loud clunk. i pulled of the cowl and watched the motor and all the linkage do what it does and i don't see any problem. its loud enough to hear it with the radio up and the LM roaring..

anybody have any ideas, i don't want to have the guys at the dealership mangle up my car

thanks

did you run over a cat by any chance?

sounds like something to do with the linkage. Did you check to see if everything was tight ?

Is the clunk at the bottom of the sweep?
Prolly gonna entail disassembly /inspection to get to the root cause.
Have seen park mechanism's good bad b-4.
