Car will not start!!! I have a 01 trans am 5.7L and I was driving the car yesterday and the car drove fine and then all of a sudden the voltage gage on the car just droped to nothing and it died. I replaced the battery thinking that was the issue cause it was 6 years old and still the same thing. It sat at about 10 volts for 20 min and then died to nothing. So I replaced the alternator everything is tight on there but the only thing that worries me is there is a connection that is on the alternator that no wires go into. does anyone know what this is for? But the car still has the same issue sat at 10 volts for 20 min and died. Please help me I am about to pull my hair out! thanks
