Default oil everywhere

I have a bad oil leak for a while now. Motor is still running fine. I just recently got up under the car and noticed that the whole underside of the car is covered in oil. How do i check to see if it is the intake? do i just physically stick my hand back there and check or is there another way. Or does this sound more like the rear main seal?

yup sounds like a rear main leak but like it was said above clean underside real good and drive it.you should be able to find the leak pretty easily if there is that much oil under the car

A small little mechanic's mirror & a light can do wonders for you too.
If it is up high & around the back of the intake 7 the top of the trans is covered =you likely found the source. You might not get a visable leak running it @ idle & checking it.
Specially if it is covered in oil like you say.
