Default Door wont close!??

Was working on the car today in the garage and door was open for abit while I was working on the passenger side.
When I went to close it it doesn't shut. Its like there's something blocking it from latching. it just rebounds instead of latching shut?
WTF

First time I ever did that, I was playing around with my dads truck door when I was a little kid, I was like ****, I thought I really broke the door, I was shitting bricks.

I did that, had the door open for a while but with the key in the ignition (working on window alignment so I needed accessories turned on) and the warning tone was annoying me so I closed the latch with a screwdriver. Forgot about it later, went to close the door and it did just what you described and bounced off. Felt like an idiot
