whats up with my car? I recently purchased a 98 Z28 A4 with 41,000 on the clock. The problem is when the car is under load (like im going up a hill) under light throttle the car lurges kind of what feels like to me a misfire. There’s no check engine light, I’ve replaced the fuel filter, and the problem doesn't happen all the time and when it does happen it doesn't matter if the engine is cold or at op-temp so I don't think it's the 0-2's. But when the problem does happen all I have to do is give it more gas and it downshifts and the lurching goes away. Could it just be plugs/wires? Any idea's? Thanks guys, look forward to learning alot about my new ride here.

Having no SES light does not mean there isn't something a scanner won't pick up. go get an OBDII scan. Bad 02's can cause that and you WILL NOT always get a SES light. The scanner will show if they are working properly. Could be dirty fuel injectors too.
Plug and wire change can't hurt. If you're stock just get the wires for $36 from Advance Auto, aftermarket wires will do absolutely nothing for you by way of better performance. if you have 600 RWHP, get some aftermarket wires.
TR55's if you can find them or TR5's will be the best plugs. Those two plugs are 100% identical plugs, just make sure they are all gapped to .055 if you're stock.
