missing after over rev ?

Default missing after over rev ?

over reved the car the other day and after I have misfire codes... thought it might be push rods they seem fine,the car idles real rough but oil pressure is good no smoke,but is running lean which I assume is just the car trying to fix the problem ? thanks for any advice

How do they pushrods "seem" fine? are they still straight? You could have broken a valve spring, you could have also smacked a valve with the piston. If it wasn't missing before, and it is now, I'm betting you hurt the motor.

yeah there all straight and I didnt notice a broken spring but its hard to tell without pulling them off,Im sure the motor is hurt just wondering what ideas you might have... What about collapsed lifter or a flat cam lobe sound like it might cause it?

You could have collapsed/broken a lifter, just all sorts of stuff could have happened. I'd just start with easy stuff first.
