Window out. Need help

Window out. Need help Okay so I had the t-tops out and the windows down. I went to roll the drivers side window up and it got up about 6 or 7 inches and then I heard a pop and then nothing. I can pull the window up and down manually and it will stay unless pressure is applied either way but no matter what I do or how the window is positioned I cant even get the window motor to even make a sound.
So is the window misaligned or the motor broken and what kind of bill am I facing to get it fixed?
On another not I cant pull the window pulled up all the way only about 2 inches from the top then it stops.

Sounds like your window motor may have separated from the regulator inside the door. Normally, when the window motor gear is engaged with the regulator, the glass is immobile.
