Got a quick question about our power windows. My drivers window is being a pain in the *** sometimes it goes up slllllowly then stops halfway up or 3/4 of the way up and it does the same thing when I try to open it sometimes. The switch doesnt look corroded or anything could the motor be going bad? the passenger window is fine.
Yup likely the window motor. It has an internal circuit breaker.
Thats why it stops & then goes again once it cools down.
Have to make sure everything is right in the window while replacing the motor though. The guides regulator & the adjustments. Otherwise you'll be back to square one eventually.
