Default Fuel Filter Replacement

I am going to be replacing my fuel filter here shortly. My car is in storage and if my memory serves me right i believe my wet kit(came already installed on car) is connected to the Schrader valve that i guess i need to release to depressurize the fuel system. My question is how do i go about doing this if my wet kit has replaced this valve? Do i just disconnect the wet kit hose from it and bleed it out that way? If so when i am done do i need to add anything to make sure it doesn't leak from that connection when i reconnect it(i.e. lock tight or something similar)?

this is the webpage i will be using:

thanks guys

Loosen the nut on the filter and let it bleed down from there.

If you keep the schrader valve in the fuel rail it will help unpressurized fuel stay in the line when you disconnect the filter. Take it out and the whole line empties out down your arm, etc.

You don't even need to open the hood to change a fuel filter.

It will be fine to just undo the the FF nuts and just screw in the new one. I have never messed with schrader valve for a FF change.
