98 TA bogging down

Default 98 TA bogging down
on the 98TA auto, i tried to power brake it, it revved up a lil, then bogged down and did nothing, i let off and it idled rough, but then drove fine.... obviously i had the traction control switched off, but it felt and acted as tho it was still on. i have no idea wat to start looking at, ive never had a car with traction control.... stupid new cars and all there safety features... any idea?

Get someone with a scan tool to do some logging. Mine did something similiar years ago. The knock sensors were pullung a group of timing. Also a few injectors were on their way out.

hmm good idea, shes only got 57k miles on her and isnt throwing any codes

You will be surprised how bad off something has to be before the computer sets a service engine light.

Correct. my tps sensor took a while to do this!

new K&N, clean MAF, just installed a BBK TB, problem still there
