need HELP

need HELP ok so I need some opinions...
I was getting off the interstate, and got into traffic. I was starting out in first gear when I heard a pop...like a backfire. So now, when im starting out in first, or if i put the car into 6th, or under heavy acceleration, the car sputters. I have shorties on the car, 81k on the motor..not much else...Any thoughts?
I've heard people say maybe exhaust manifold gasket, bad patch of gas, or a spark plug. oh, and here's the kicker, I'm not throwing any codes....
Any guesses?
