o2 sensor install question
o2 sensor install question ok guys I have a couple of questions.
1. My engine is throwing the code that the Bank 1, Sensor 2 o2 sensor needs to be replaced. I was going to replace both of the post-cat sensors with simulators, because a friend of mine told me that they eliminate alot of problems with the post cat sensors. I've already got the sims, and after looking under the car, the sensor is way up above the throttle cable. Is there an easier way to get to that? Or do I need to detach all of the stuff to get to it?
2. I'm also getting two codes that indicate that both banks are running lean. Is installing the simulators going to fix this? Or do I have a bigger problem that i'm going to need to address?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Post the codes if you have them. B1, S2 P0420 for example is probably the cat, not the sensor. Sims won't help if you're running lean on both banks, if the codes are P0171 and P0174 most likely cause is a PCV or vacuum leak somewhere, but could be something else.
Can't help ya with how to get to it since I have aftermarket Long Tube headers.
But yes, replacing them should fix all your troubles. Make sure your wires and plus are all good too, if they're bad they will cause the same problems as bad 02 sensors and throw the same codes.
