Another Dashpad Thread... Quick Question Plz

I have a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am.

I've been reading that 97+ it seems is universal, but the part numbers are as follows.
Camaro dashboard large top panel (IP upper trim panel) (93-96) = 10267171
Firebird dashboard large top panel (IP upper trim panel) (93-96) = 10274437
F-body dashboard large top panel (IP upper trim panel) (97-99) = 10422746
F-body dashboard large top panel (IP upper trim panel) (00-02) = 10410583

Is there really a difference between the 97-99 and 00-02? Perhaps the latter is ebony and not charcoal?
