Default Correct Gap?

Alright guys i did the plug and wire change. I bought the car last year so i figured i would change them so i knew they would be good. I had ngk tr55's in it that were gaped at .062. The previous owner gave me some TR6's so i decided to put those in. And on the box it says to gap to manufactures specs. So i gaped them to .060 and threw them in. I did some research and everyone says to gap them at .03-.038.

DID I GAP THEM WRONG????

the car runs and drives great by the way!

I know people who gap to .040, some that do .060, some that do every other gap inbetween. I used to gap my 427ci, for like the past 6 years, to .045. I decided to do .055 about 2 months ago when I changed my plugs.

No change at all in any way.

It just doesn't seem to matter. It seems to be important on high boosted set-ups, nitrous and big HP engines.

Do them at .055 and you'll be perfect.

My TR6's are at .035, not sure what people say.
