Default car misses in rain?

Hello everyone i have a 97 transam lti that is has a miss only when it rains,to the car to the shop for a full Diagnostics, and they coud not find anything wrong, tech said every thing was showing fine.we drove the car with the Diagnostics machine hooked up and he said there was no problems showing on the computor while we were driving, after he checked the plug wires and said he move the #7 wire a little because it was close to the manifold, the car ran strong and fine for two days until it started to rain and the miss showed up again weak throttle response and bogging a little .any ideas?

i saw 97, rain, and miss, and thought opti too.
never had an lt1 so i don't know first hand but i remember reading some fixes for the opti. They are notorious for having problems in wet and even just damp weather. There's a way to pull apart and clean one, and I thought there was something about a vent hole, if you're new one has a vent hole that has poor placement and moisture gets in there, you'll have problems. best advice i can give is do a search for optispark, hopefully you can find the writeups on pulling them apart and the recommendations.
