elcetrical issue?
elcetrical issue? Hey all, to start i have a 2001 Formula with some small mods. The car has a lid, Holley filter, ported stock throttle body, Magnaflow cat-back, and a predator tune, all which have been on the car for years.
Recently, I have been having a problem where after i go through the car wash, i get the SES light and the car bogs. Then it started in the rain too. Now its starting to do it in dry weather as well. I pulled a P0300 code (random mis-fire), but I think it's an overall electrical problem, because now its poping through the stereo, the power locks are jumping, and the digital odometer is blinking, as well as the radio just turning off as if the car is losing power for a moment.
I dont really know where to start looking for the problem, no fuses are blown, and my system (amps and such) is fused 3 times in the main power line.
I did a search, and didnt come up with anything. Any help would be most appreciated. I don't want to take it to a shop and get ripped if its something I can handle myself.

Thanks 98TA, I was outside today poking around, and I noticed one of the clicking sounds is coming from behind the glove box, from what looks like a computer.(it has a decent amount of wires running into it) When I put my hand on it I can feel the clicking or poping. I'm just not sure if it because of the problem or if it is the problem. I tried checking all the grounds and connections I could find.
I went back out after it got dark, thinking if something was shorting I could see sparks jumping, but nothing there either. I'm really at a loss.
I appreciate any input anyone might have. I guess if it keeps up, I'm gonna have to take it somewhere and get it looked at.
