for plugs and wires, a member on here sells msd wires with ngk tr55's or tr5's for a good deal. user name is "blanco ss" i believe. just specify that your wires need to be cut to fit an lt1

oil...most prefer mobil 1, german castrol, royal purple and high priced synthetics. 10w30 or 5w30 is often use for ls1's, not sure about lt1's

5 quarts of oil, 5w30 or 10w30 should work fine
- Should I stick with regular pennzoils or mobil 1
i have always used pennzoil with no problems.. but it depends on who you talk to really..
- What is best oil filter, should I stick with ac delco ?
ac delco makes some good filters, its generally accepted that any filter will do fine if its not a fram
- What kind of spark plug do I need ? should I stick with ac delco, I want something that last and I dont want change it out soon.
a lot of people use NGK's.. i stick with ac delco personally
- What is best spark plug wire to get ?
doesnt really matter IMO
- What fuel filter brand should I use ?
any filter will do

2: Automatic Tranmission
- What kind of tranmission do I had ?
you have a 4l60e
- What is the correct fluid for my tranny ? regular or synthetic
not really sure, i use dexron III in my manual
- What is best brand for automatic tranny filter
doesnt really matter IMO
- How many quart do I need when I drop the pan and change out filter.
~5 quarts, just keep filling until it is full with the car running and in neutral
- Its good ideal to install an aftermaket pan with drain plug ?
sure, if you want, a bigger pan will help wit cooling the transmission to fit more fluid in
- this is first time I drive a automatic, why their is 2 letter D ? and which one I should use ?
use D, the other D's are so you can shift it manually

3: Gear
- What is correct oil weight for my rear diff. Regular or synthetic ?
i used 75w90 in mine, remember to add the LSD additive
- Does my Diff have LSD or posi ?
LSD and posi are the same thing, posi is just a name GM came up with for LSD
- How many quart do I need for my diff ?

dont remember how many quarts it had, but just keep filling it up until it starts to come out of the fill plug

is their a online site that show how to do these thing with picture ?

check out install university

Actual capacity is 5.5 quarts for the engine.

I usually save the leftover 1/2 quart, then add it when needed.

I plan on going to the larger PF61 filter next time, so I'm just going to add all six qts at once.

i wasnt sure for the LT1's but my manual says the lt1's take 5 quarts, and the ls1's take 5.5

assuming since he has a 97, im guessing its an lt1, which would be 5 quarts

A little late here but the LT1s with the oil coolers can take 5.5 quarts as well. My 93 did.
